Seeking an Intermediate Designer

Moeski Consulting Inc. has an exciting and unique opportunity for an intermediate designer. This contract position, which may result in full-time employment, is available immediately.

Job description:

-          Collaborate directly with Creative Director
-          Assist in executing concept-driven, innovative and artistic designs
-          Prepare renderings and story boards for pitch meetings & presentations
-          Prepare complete construction packages
-          Source materials, finishes, fixtures and furniture
-          Assist with project management and construction management

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

-          Hold a Degree or Diploma in Interior Design
-          Excellent design skills
-          Extremely proficient in AutoCAD 2010, Sketch-up, and Photoshop
-          Knowledgeable with construction drawings, specs and millwork packages
-          Excellent understanding of BC building code
-          Familiarity with Hospitality and Retail design
-          Minimum 2 – 3 years experience
-          Be able to work independently and in a team environment
-          Positive, high-energy and enthusiastic about interior design
